Christine Janak, RYT-200 YA
Christine Janak is a yoga and meditation instructor based in Urbana, IL. She was first introduced to mindfulness and meditation in karate classes as a kid, and began practicing yoga in 2009. She has offered group classes and private lessons for over 10 years and loves to lead flowing vinyasa-style classes that help students drop into the present moment through breath and body awareness. She encourages everyone to experiment and make the practice their own, honoring what their body needs in each moment and listening deeply to their inner voice.
Christine is also a dancer and circus-style performance artist and teacher, specializing in hoop dance, silk fan veils, and fire dancing/fire eating. She enjoys performing at festivals, private events, and on stage with the band Sun Stereo throughout the Midwest and beyond.
