The benefits of regular massage include a decrease in stress, lower blood pressure, increase in blood circulation, boost immune system, and prevents back pain.

  • Relieves stress

  • Encourages relaxation

  • Helps manage pain

  • Improves flexibility and range of motion

  • Relaxes muscles

  • Lowers blood pressure

Head Massage

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a healing form. It is based on very gentle touch and the firm belief that health is always available. This work supports the whole body, and especially perceives and addresses the nervous system to help ease conditions evolved from stress, trauma or injuries.

This work can benefit people by releasing restrictions and unresolved memories that take place in the spinal cord and membranes that surround the brain. People with challenges such as low back pain, migraines, injuries, chronic pain, anxiety and stress may find that BCST can provide an experience of wellness and fluidity in the physical and emotional body.

Ashiatsu (ah-she-ot-sue)

"If you love classic Swedish massage but find that you often crave deeper pressure and broader compression throughout the session, Ashiatsu is perfect for you."

Ashiatsu is very similar to Swedish: the therapist delivers the massage using long, smooth, deep, flowing strokes alternated with spot kneading and slow cross fiber friction. The difference is that the therapist actually stands on the massage table and uses her feet. Holding parallel bars mounted securely to the ceiling makes gliding with gravity and sinking smoothly into tissue easy. Your therapist will always ask if she is giving the desired depth and comfort. The result is a profoundly relaxing massage.

  • Combines deep compression and long flowing effleurage strokes

  • Elongates the spine and improves posture

  • Stimulates the lymphatic system

  • Boosts and balances the body’s energy

  • Loosens the back and shoulders

  • Relieves pain and stress, promoting relaxation

  • Improves flexibility

Medical Thai Massage
"Thai Yoga Therapy is a beautiful and powerful combination of massage, acupressure, stretching, twisting, energy work, and meditation, all rolled into one experience."

Like most eastern healing traditions, the aim of Thai Yoga Therapy is to stimulate the flow of energies within the body. This ancient massage is especially beneficial in releasing tension stored in the lower extremities, back, hips and legs. The effects include a deep sense of relaxed awareness. Thai Massage is given on a padded floor surface, please wear comfortable clothes that stretch.

  • Improves posture, breathing, flexibility, digestion and circulation

  • Muscles are stretched, inner organs toned and emotional and nervous tension is reduced

  • A deep sense of peace can be experienced during and after a treatment

  • Health Prevention (A premise of energy healing is that disease manifests first on the energy level and can be treated there before it becomes physical.)

  • Great therapeutic benefit for a range of specific problems and conditions, such as headaches, back pain, digestive disorders, shoulder and neck tension, joint pain, menstruation problems, insomnia and other stress related conditions.

Head Massage

Two people are massaged in the same room, at the same time, by two different therapists. A "couple" can be partners, family, or friends. As for couples massage etiquette, it’s fine to talk to each other through the massage if you want, or be quiet the whole time. It’s really up to you.

  • Reduces Anxiety

  • Increases Circulation

  • Decreases Pain and Muscle Aches

  • Moisturizes Skin

  • Bonding Over Shared Experience

Yoga Teacher with Student

Scheduling a free private yoga consultation with Mary to talk about your intention for beginning a yoga practice or deepening your practice. The practice can be very different depending on the approach. Private yoga may be therapeutic, strength building, restorative, or simply a way to gain flexibility in mind and body. Mary also has done specific training in prenatal and postnatal yoga.

You will receive a written yoga posture practice, flow sequence, or meditation instruction, custom designed for you.

Private instruction can provide a foundation for a home yoga practice. Or you might simply enjoy the experience of having individualized attention on your yoga practice. A private yoga session is the best way to check alignment with immediate feedback from a certified yoga teacher.

What Our Clients Say

"I felt great the day after my massage!

You really work miracles.

Thank You!"

“My Ashiatsu massage yesterday was incredible, as was the previous one.  I feel much better…restored even!   I’m so grateful for your knowledge, skill, and healing touch.  My neck was noticeably much better after our session, stiffness gone and less sore.  With so much car travel, and then caring for and lifting young children, my body really needs the care your massage provides. ”
