Meg graduated from Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois in 2016 with a certificate in Massage Therapy. It is her focus to treat her clients with the utmost care and help them attain a greater joy of life through massage therapy. Prior to her journey for increased joy in life, she worked as an educator ranging from Pre-K 3s all the way up to adult GED classes. Massage Therapy is a unique type of therapy in which many different modalities or types of therapy can be used during session time. For example, she uses aromatherapy for clients who need a little extra bit of stress relief during a massage. She has also incorporated cold therapy, cupping therapy, deep tissue work, and trigger point therapy for clients who may need pain relief in certain areas. Meg has also been known to give simple exercises to help with postural needs for chronic pain relief.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxing massage to ease stress and tension or have more specific pain management needs, she can adapt a session to fit your needs. Meg takes time to listen to your muscles, your range of motion, and your verbal & non-verbal feedback as she works. She incorporates the use of deep tissue therapy, trigger point work, and myofascial stretching to provide a unique therapeutic experience. Your comfort is her utmost concern.
