Rebeca has been a dancer for more than twenty years. Dancing has brought her countless hours of somatic training in practices such as Qigong, Feldenkrais, Authentic Movement, Body-Mind Centering, Klein technique and Contact Improvisation. These approaches had led her to go deeper into the realm of touch and healing of the body. rebeca became a Thai massage practitioner in 2017 in Colombia and then completed the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy certification at Stillpoint CST in New York City in 2021.

As a practitioner of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST), she holds the magic of listening to the somatic memory of the people with whom she works, through cranial rhythm impulses, the subtle changes of the nervous system, the texture of the tissue field and the movement of the internal breath of the body. This form has nurtured her understanding of the body as a whole, meaning that emotions, memories, ideas and all kinds of experiences take place in the body and manifest as patterns. Rebeca has the capacity to meet those patterns that arise under her perceptive hands and to facilitate processes of healing.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a healing form. It is based on very gentle touch and the firm belief that health is always available. This work supports the whole body, and especially perceives and addresses the nervous system to help ease conditions evolved from stress, trauma or injuries.

This work can benefit people by releasing restrictions and unresolved memories that take place in the spinal cord and membranes that surround the brain. People with challenges such as low back pain, migraines, injuries, chronic pain, anxiety and stress may find that BCST can provide an experience of wellness and fluidity in the physical and emotional body.
